YOU THINK FOOD IS THE PROBLEM & DIETS ARE THE SOLUTION

You believe you just lack the willpower needed to resist food. WRONG!

Your compulsion to eat when stressed, lonely, sad, angry, bored, tired etc., is driven by your SUBCONSCIOUS MIND. One of its jobs is to take you from a place of discomfort or pain to pleasure and it will take the simplest route. You actually have an unfulfilled need which you have probably carried from childhood that hasn’t been addressed. It pains you a some level and the subconscious will have you reach for something that gives you an instant hit of pleasure, it could be alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, gambling, sport, sex, art, music, work etc., etc. or it could in your case include FOOD?

Willpower is a conscious decision. The subconscious drive to get relief from pain is far more powerful. When your pain is strong, willpower is powerless against the subconscious needs which is why you self-sabotage.

Without getting to the root cause of the issue, you will never completely overcome the urge to eat.
